CF Christmas Camp

And you guys said that the camp would be boring. Well, I am absolutely delighted to prove you guys wrong!

The camp was seriously fun, even better than what most of us had expected. Sure, some of us were let down by the small turnout, but nevertheless a small group of 24 did not prevent God’s presence from filling the place!

Our guest speaker, Pastor Albert was funny and amazing, and smart too. He taught us the easiest way of memorizing the 10 Commandments. And his jokes, LOLZ! Ah, one of the coolest Pastors I have ever met! How cool is he? Well, the man has an account in Facebook. How hip is that? Hehe

Pastor Albert! He is such a joy!!

Our darling game master had the most fun torturing us. From sticking stickers onto people’s faces to painting the boy’s nails while blindfolded to shaving two balloons, Clarice could not have think of a better way to mess with us. Thus the name “extreme sports” was very much well deserved. She even made us walk with our feet put into two plastic bags filled with wet flour! Hehe

We're comin' to get you!!!

Shaving bobby: Jason moving in to pop the balloon with a shaver!!

Hippo ready to get an extreme makeover? Kekeke I painted his FINGERS pink with nail polish.

How high can you go??

This is what happens when your team lost in the games organised by Clarice. You get taped to the wall. Hahaha

We also have this little mailbox system where one can write personal messages to others and insert them into their mailbox.

That was really sweet. We were all occupied with writing messages and spamming each others’ mailbox during those three days. It was even more fun knowing that you are in fact blessing others through this simple gesture. And yea, my mailbox got spammed, and I feel very blessed by all of you who wrote to me! Owh yea, Mr. Ken is known as the Spammer, and someone generously voted me to be #1 Crapper (apparently because my messages are quite long). Lolz.

We had the camp at MBS Recreation and Training Centre in Rawang, and it is a really nice place to have this kind of camps there. SIB Kajang another fellowship also had a program going on over there at the same time as us. There is a HUGE swimming pool, Olympic size! With a slide!! If you climb over the wall where the pool is and into the driving range in the evening, you find yourself in Monkey kingdom! It was a huge shocker to see so many monkeys there the other day. And seriously, they were BIG MONKEYS!! Hehe and Joshua cornered an innocent squirrel!!!!!!!!!!
But he let it go. Eventually. Hehe

Ok, I have no idea what else to crap about. So, as usual, let the pictures do the talking for me!! I initially wanted to writing something very long and winding about the camp, but inspiration has left. Plus, we are facing a storm right now, so yeah. Feeling clouded. Hehe

Philip, Joshua, Clarice and Hippo at worship practise

ZOMG the food was nice!! Better than KDU Square kekeke

Peace!! Bian and I

To The Gays of 5th Floor....

Yes, rather embaressing I have to admit. And I honestly honestly HONESTLY do not know how it happened.

But I have repaid my debts to society, society referring to the sexually confused residents of 5th floor in Sterling. Lolz I know, I know. I am going to have to redeem myself again after this post, having said that. Hehe

What happened, you ask? Well, *embaress* I broke their can opener. LOLZ

The screw thing came off!! It just suddenly fell apart!! Like I said, I do NOT know how it happened!! I guess I just don't know my own strength hehe

As promised, I have bought a new can opener for the boys.

And I also took the liberty of writing a special "love" note for the boys

"To the Gays of 5th Floor,
Sorry I broke the last one.
Happy can opening. Hehe
Luv, Sherene"

Now, Derek can eat his lychee. Rashad does not have to endanger himself by opening the cans with a knife anymore. And the others, well, God knows what they do with all their kitchen utensils and what not.

We are watching Kuch Kuch Hota Hai now. sobzzz so sad. Hehe going to CF camp tomorrow, I mean today. Till then, ciao babes :P

Shantey!!! under alep's pants...

ZOMG seriously, every single day, we keep pilling up on more inside jokes. So much so that we use it in our daily routine, hence others will find us to be a very strange bunch of people. Hehe

I went to Alep's Malaysian Studies class last Tuesday just for the sake of watching his group's presentation. I have to be honest that I have absolutely nothing to do with that class. I could have gone home early right after my own Malaysian Studies class, but the six of us knew that we would not want to miss their presentation for anything in the world.

What was so special about their group presentation?

It was because of one person. This one hot chick that we really wanted to meet. Looking ever so sexy in the sari that cost more than RM300 (borrowed from Ms Hema), with dance moves that will capture your heart.

And who exactly is that girl?

Allow me, dear readers, to introduce to you, SHANTEY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes! That Shantey is our very own Soh Wen Chiat!! They wanted to give their presentation the extra umph, so they decided to create Shantey!

Damn sporting la this Wen Chiat. she He even did a dance for Mr Raj!! Watch this video:

Yea that was why I was very excited to go to Mr Raj's Malaysian Studies class.

So I guess this means that we CAN do weird stuff to and for Wen Chiat in our upcoming production in February, aye Shantey?? Hehehehe

Owh Shantey Shantey!!

Cough cough SNEEZE!!!

I am still sick. Yes, half of the scholars fell sick this week. I bet it was because of the Sports Carnival we had last Saturday. But most of us are feeling much better now. Hehe

We went for Mama's Wedding on Thursday night. No, not MY mother or YOUR mother's wedding. It was a play that was performed at Actors Studio in Bangsar. So cool! I got to watch an actual play with professional actresses! Hehe

The play was interesting, the plot was a tad bit hanging though. And yes, there were a few X-rated moments in the play. Nevertheless, the actresses were awesome and it was a wonderful experience for us. So yeah, hopefully that has helped us prepare for our next play in February.

Ni, June, Alep, Zan, and Wen Chiat came over to have dinner with Jie Jie and I. This was what we had for dinner tonight:

This is the first time I cooked an actual dish here in Sterling:

Yes mummy, aren't you proud of me? :p

And yes people, Wen Chiat cooked too!!!

See, even pregnant Jambu can cook fried chicken, egg and dori fish! Amazing aye? Hehe

Vincent and I learnt something very important this week, and that is, you cannot simply trust and rely 100% on every single information you obtain from the internet. Especially wikipedia.

Allow me to prove to you the reason as to why:

<
Hehehe Alep started the whole thing with Nipaporn, and I was feeling naughty that time in the library, right Vincent? So in conclusion, as you can see, from wikipedia, we learn that Vincent Lee is a Malaysian Siamese hippo whisperer! How delightful!

Wow, not blogging for more than a week and not feeling well has definitely zapped all my creative juice out. No wonder this post is so short and crappy. Owh well, bear with me for a bit, lolz XP
