Of Poems and Sonnets and Swoonings

For our English exams, we are required to rewrite or recreate our own version of a poem that is given. So Ms Hema, our darling English teacher, has been torturing training us in our poetic and creative skills and what nots so that we will not struggle that much during exams by making us recreate lots of poems.

So far, she had us write our own version of Shakespeare’s Sonnet 18, our own version (a continued version of the original poem) of Malaysian Mentality yay we get to write bad stuff about the country and get away with it, our reply poem to the original version of Malaysian Mentality whereby we have to defend our country and write good stuff about it aw shucks, and the female’s version of the poem Meeting At Night by Robert Browning. So basically, we have done four poems since we got here in KDU.

Writing a poem is NOT easy, mind you. You need to be in the right mood to write something mushy and lovey-dovey for the Sonnet and the female version of Meeting At Night. And you need to be precise and factual and at the same time, humorous mixed with loads of sarcasm for Malaysian Mentality. You need inspiration.

Fuhh all this poem thing is kinda hard. My poems are crappy. When I wrote my version of Sonnet 18, I was trying to be funny and playful with it (my poem had the words hey sugar, hot and TMTH in it), but it turned out to be something that was taken seriously by Ms Hema. *dies of shock*

Clearly I am not a poetess, nor do I have any creativity in writing a poem. Which is tragic. Haha
Our version of Malaysian Mentality was fun to write and read out to class. Zul rocked the floor with his recital of his poem. Not only was he expressive (his hands were flying and waving everywhere), he read it out in a super funny way!

But the best poems recreated ever were the Sonnets. Some of us wrote really sentimental stuff, and some tried to be funny (like me). Some wrote about botox and plastic surgery (????), while others wrote about being ugly. Oh look, it rhymes!! Let me try to rearrange those sentences.

Some of us wrote really sentimental stuff and some tried to be funny
Some wrote about botox and plastic surgery
While others wrote about being ugly

Owh yeah Ms Hema would be so proud…

Oops, I digressed. Haha anyway, although my version of the Sonnet was really crappy, two of my friends wrote really cool stuff. One of my absolute favourite is Derek’s version of Sonnet 18.
This is what he came up with.

Sonnet 18 - by Derek Yong
A sunny day shall never be compared to thee,
As her hotness does not burn my tree,
Stormy wind may stir the sky,
But a stormy her will make me cry,
(cue Yvonne and Sherene: awwwwwwwwwwww)
Often does her eyes glow so bright,
Forcing the sun to run and hide,
Sometimes her buzz may tempt the bees,
But the honey within is worth the grief,
By choice or chance in nature flow,
She locks my heart and owns my soul,
As long as her love for LV lasts,
The money in my wallet shall turn to dust,
So long as men and elves can read and write,
So long lives the brightness of her glowing light.

Damn, his poem is sooooo good!!! It is so sentimental and romantic and beautiful and sweet and amazing and most importantly, super swoooooooooooooon-worthy!!!!! Derek is known as poem boy, for super obvious reasons. I am a fan, I am not ashamed to admit. LOLZ that is not the only poem that he has come up with. This is also one of my favourite in the Derek Yong collection:

Donor of Love - by Derek Yong
Never will I hurt you, my Dear,
Glitters in you have dried my tear,
If your love for me is pure and near,
Evil and Death shall I not fear,
If you shall ever cry, I will not cry,
But my heart will bleed till it end up dry,
If you shall ever die, I will not die,
But my soul will burn and its ashes shall fly.

ZOMG am I the only person swooning here????

He wrote that poem at one in the morning for his poem recital the next day (well, the same day actually). Instead of memorizing one old poem from someone famous, he decided to come up with that. Fuhyo talk about being a Mat Jiwang!!

PS: never believe him when he says that any poem that he wrote was not good as he simply wrote it for it will still knock your socks off…

Ms Hema granted us the permission to be modern and funny in our version of Sonnet 18. And my most favourite modern and playful yet meaningful version of Sonnet 18 HAS to be the poem by Yvonne.

Sonnet 18 - by Yvonne Ho
My baby my darling my syamil,
You're my summer, my winter and more,
With eyes so sexy, A smile so charming,
What more could I ever ask for?
Your good looks summer can never compare,
Like summer 24/7 in M'sia you make me hot,
Winter is prettie, but thou art is more lovely and fair,
Night day dawn dusk you're always in my thoughts.
I eternalise you, my darling, in this poem of mine,
So your shuai-ness stays and Death can never brag,
Your handsome-ness and my love for you grows with every line,
PS: I would love you more if you would just get me that Gucci bag.
So long people know their ABC's and 123's
Don't worry my baby you'll forever more live.

Disclaimer: I did NOT add the strike out there. I did NOT add in the “my syamil” part. This is the ORIGINAL version from Yvonne. I stress again. ORIGINAL. Hahaha

I love this poem. It is naughty and cheeky, but Yvonne can still get her message across. Syamil is our senior that we met online before coming here. And yes, he has a really handsome smile. He is Yvonne’s “apparent gilakus crush” (she blames it on Alep and I), and according to Yvonne, the only reason his name is in the poem is because she added it in for our entertainment when she was reciting it aloud to the class. Yes thank you Yvonne. It was super entertaining. LOLZ
The best part about this is that Yvonne put it up in her blog, and Syamil responded to her poem by writing a short Sonnet for her!!!!

Reply Sonnet by Syamil
Seems like it was just yesterday,
We wrote loveletters to each other,
How much I love your scribbles,
And the perfect lines knitted with love.

Yesterday, on the phone we were,
Hours and hours like nothing matters, (not even the bills)
Waking up to the smell of your hair,
Which I long to get lost in.

This is Yvonne’s cue to swoon.

ZOMG I cannot help it, I am swooning too. Haha

Though it may be short, it is so sweet and meaningful and LOLIMANTIC!!! Yvonne is damn lucky that Syamil did not run away screaming when he read her poem. And she is even luckier that he wrote one for her!!

Honestly speaking, I am a little bit kek tiok that someone took the trouble to write such a beautiful poem for Yvonne. Huhuhu

Owh well. Time to go work on my Last alep daun Leaf. XD

This Is The Time...

Hey guys!

I have been here in KDU for almost three weeks now, and everything is still fine. A lot of people have been asking me random questions about my college and etc. randomly, and I find it rather vexing to have to repeat myself over and over and over and over and over and over again not to mention the fact that i wanna write super cool and amazing stuff about my life here to kek some people back home and elsewhere!!! omg i am so mean... muahahaha

And so therefore conclusion is, I have decided to post about my life here in KDU along with all sorts of randomness and nonsensical crap.

COLLEGE LIFE
Classes started the very next day we got to college, so unlike most of you, I did not have to endure a week long dreadful orientation, which is good. Kekeke
One class is about 50 minutes, and our timetable is basically confusing at first (it is so confusing, even one of our lecturer did not come to class as he misinterpreted the timetable), and quite pack for now. It will be even more jam packed come the next few months.

I am enjoying my classes and lecturer. Some of you might have heard "interesting" stories about my chemistry lecturer, and LOL he is starting to lighten up and is even joking around with us! what we learn in chemistry is that we must spray ridsect under our beds to get rid of the ghost hiding under there, and that the knowledge of chemistry can help us get loads of children in the future whether legally or illegally, it does not matter...

English class is my favourite. Our lecturer is young, which makes it easy for us to click with her. She lets us do fun stuff like write our own version of poems such as Malaysian Mentality and Sonnet 18. Btw, some of my friends have writen a really superb version of Sonnet 18, and I will post it up next time. She also went through a whole lot of trouble (and apparently had to fall on someone's feet for this) to get the department's permission to do a play. Two plays actually. This is no joke, we are doing it on a BIG scale!! I am not sure who is coming to watch us make asses out of ourselves on stage, but I know for sure that if we do not do well, that is the very end of us! *gulpzzz*

Owh, and I bet you are wondering how big my classroom is. Well, the classrooms that we are using is definitely NOT this.

taken during the MCS thingy that we had the other day

That is a lecture hall. We are using regular classrooms, some slighty bigger and slightly smaller compared to our classrooms back in secondary school. Though it is small, it is very cosy. For certain classes, there are 20+ students. But for most of my classes, I only have 8-13 classmates.

KDU mix us Petronas and JPA scholars together (13 students each), but we are seperated from private students as they enrolled much earlier than we are. After combining those two groups up, we are then divided into two groups, namely the Arts group and Science group. Since there are no science students on JPA's side, it is just the six of us, together with some students under KDU scholarship.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
OMG it has been three weeks since I have eaten all the loca Kuching food. Kampua mee, gu bak mee, TA WAN KUNG MEE SUP KIAW!!!!, char sio perng etc. owh how I miss you...

Ok, I have to admit, I do not really miss them that much.

Ok, ok, I do not miss them at all...

But the one thing that I have a sudden craving for is...

the best tomato kueh tiaw in kuching PERIOD!!!

SARAWAK CLUB'S TOMATO KUEH TIAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha. But seriously though, the food that they serve in college is nice. It is quite expensive, but at least it is super yummy and nice.

Let see, in KDU Square (the main cafeteria), we have the fast food section (they even serve mutton there!! woohoo), the pastry section, the western food section (it is nice and cheaper compared to the prices outside), and the goreng section, where they fry food for you on the spot.
Phew talk about a hefty lunch!!

and when i told joshua about the food served, he told me that i am going to be fat by the time that i come back to kuching and that i am going to weigh over 100 kg!! stupid stupid panda, darn you

For dinner, my unitmates cook. They love to cook, and they eat a lot. Well, by my standards, it is alot. Everyone back home knows I eat very little, so I am not trying to imply that they are greedy and have never ending foodlust. So my ever nagging family, you do not have to worry as I am covered for dinner. Sheesh...

My unitmates who love to cook. Haliq and Zul

FRIENDS
My friends here are,

INSANE!!!

Geez man, you'd think that scholars are super nerdy and studious and upright and polite and quiet and shy and yek yek yek. But most of us are exact opposite.

We are kewl especially alep and slightly lazy and naughty and playful and very very very noisy and we are most definitely NOT shy.

Before I came here, I was so pure and innocent. But over here, I am no longer the former nor the latter as I am suffering from over exposure to colourful languages and XXXXX ratedness. This is mainly the boy's fault. Let me show you the culprits:

Zul, Rashad, Derek and Arsyad

And it would be sooooooooooooo wrong to leave this guy out of the to-blame list..

Alep BING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why don you hit him?!?!?! ulu ulu ulu

*credits to Yvonne for this picture. I took it from your blog hehe*

They are very fond of the number 69 and whatever that is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX-rated, and some of them have very colourful languages as well.
"Sherene!! Cover your ears!! You don't want to hear what we are going to say!!"

That is what Alep, Derek and Rashad would tell me when they are about to say or discuss about something that is super dirrty and XXXX-rated.

"No, no, we have to let you know and understand what all this is so that you would not feel curious and search it up the internet," says the ever so considerate Derek regarding Karma Sutera, *shouts and runs away screaming* "so see, we are looking out for you here."

Gee, thanks guys. I feel so "secured" now... PLUS they like to scandalise us girls with the seniors by creating rumours and gossips and teasing us and stuff... Evils...

Apart from their craze about X-rated stuff, they are really nice and sweet. But most of all, they are full of gilaness!! Haha

And for the girls, they are not spared from all the insanity as well. They are full of life and and crazy, slightly X-rated (but not as much as the boys), and most of all, super fun to be with!!

Zan, Susan, Yvonne and Jie Jie.
*again, credits to Yvonne for this picture*
The girls are super to joke around with and they are not ashamed of talking about underwear colour and even told us that we should get zebra striped undies.. oooo sexy sexy
OMG see, see.. I am corrupted already...

Sighummzzz I have alot more that I wanna say about my friends, but I have class in 15 minutes, and so I am off!!
Ciao people...

I Fell On My Ass

I fell on my ass five times yesterday, and got my jeans all wet to the max.

ZOMG (zommmmm-gok)

I went ice-skating for the first time ever in my life. Yay!! It was super fun! Scary at first, but fun. Luckily, I was not the only first timer there in the ring. Alep and Sara has never skated before too, and boy was it a fun and “interesting” experience for us!

Alep and I were practically pushing and pulling at each other in desperate attempt to keep our balance and stay up. I bet it was a super funny sight to see both of us clutching the wall for dear life for the first few rounds! not to mention the fact that alep is tall and scrawny, so it was HILL-LARIOUS to see him holding onto the wall!! ask susan!! ask susan!! she can testify to it!!

And we were sweating! It was strenuous!!

“Who on earth sweats on an ice ring?!?!?!?!” frets the extremely tired Alep.

Ya duh Alep, it requires a lot of upper body strength to keep hanging onto the wall while pushing ourselves forwards!!! Gahh haha why dont u hit him!!!

Nevertheless, our knights in shinning armour namely Rashad, Zul and Arsyad actually arsyad was busy giving private tutoring lessons to sara so…… DDD came and helped us and taught us how to skate. Even though Rashad and Zul were patient enough to teach us, we were still clueless as to how to skate!! Huhu imagine the three of us holding on to each other and pulling at each other, trying not to fall down!!

Now my body aches. Muscle pain... Huhu

But seriously, it was fun! Can't wait to do it again!

Next time, it will be a whole day of skating! Forget the movies! Lets just skate! XD

PS: this is a very crappy entry because I have no idea how to express this post creatively, PLUS, Zul is sitting next to me bugging me to death about slaying horses after riding!! sheesh!!

Busy Busy Me

I am exhausted.

Ok, I might be exaggerating a little bit here, but I am definitely sure that most of my friends here are yet they can find the strength to go to Sunway last night till God knows what time

SORRY GUYS if I have not been messaging you, or spamming your blogs, or bugging you in either friendster or face book (ok ok, I actually DID all that, but I’m trying to sound like a busy person here!! Give me a break!!)

For the past two or three days, and for some poor souls, nights, we had our hands tied with the Kebudayaan Competition thingy in the club that we were *chokes* kindly, sweetly and cheerfully invited to join (OMG I am sooooo dead if any of the seniors read my blog!!!), that is the Malay Cultural Society, or MCS for short. MCS organised an interschool competition, just like what Swinburne in Kuching did for the Debate Competition, but on a much smaller scale.
Anyway, that was not the only thing that I was preoccupied with. It was this,

POPIAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nooo I was not busy EATING them… I was busy MAKING them!!
*sees people fainting in front of the computer*

Yes people (especially members of my beloved and eternally whacky family), I MADE popiahs. Me, a person who enters the kitchen at home to actually cook once in a blue moon. The reason for this “shocking” activity of mine is to raise fund for MCS. My seniors, Wendin, Syamil and Farah were super sweet enough to call Yvonne, Alep and I to lend them three pairs of helping hands with their little project.
So after class on Wednesday, we went over to KEPOH Kondo Pelangi Utama where they were staying to start making the yummy yummy food that I am allergic to *wide-eye emoticon*

While the three of us were sheeshing, chehwahing, walao ehing and giving each other silent treatments bickering away like the silly little immature children we are in our mature, responsible and independent seniors’ place, we chopped cabbages and carrots, which also came with a side dish of us threatening to chop each other up.

A duel to the death!!!

No comment....

The end result, it was delicious!!! Well, according to them it was…

Farah and Syamil eating the freshly fried popiah

The next day, we fatiguely dragged ourselves out of bed. Although my bed was calling me back to it, I had no choice but to deny it, sobzz sobzz

Anyway the whole competition went rather well, if not for a few minor quirks and flaws. For example, the schools for some reason were very tardy and thus, the whole program started half an hour late. And we ushers got completely different instructions from the seniors which caused us to go about in a mad panic as we dare not piss them off (I have a feeling that it would be disastrous if we were to ever cross them). And one of the boys from a certain school was super rude to rashad and I as he thinks he is the most amazing performer ever and has right to throw his freaky temper and point his pointy finger at people, and yet even though we were hoping that they would not win, they actually did, which turned out to be such a bummer that we wanted to walk over there and beat them up

*clears throats*

Plus, the competition results were terrible!! It was biased!! It was horrific!! It was equivalent to Simon actually sincerely praising WILLIAM FREAKIN’ HUNG on his singing ability!!
Here is a picture of the horrible people that allowed icky performers to win first price:

Rashad @ Randy, Sara @ Paula and Derek @ Simon

LOLZ just kidding!!
That was just us fooling around in the auditorium before everything started!! Right Yvonne?? Kekeke

Anyhoo, waiting for the very tardy secondary schools was boring. This is what we did to kill time:

Jie Jie and I. And Alep's hand too. Wen Chiat with his funny funny pose at the back... Kekeke

Susan and I. Crap, she is soooo tall!!

Ushers!! Zan, Yvonne, me, June, Pei Jin and Susan

The boys "kek" cool. Rashad, Derek, Zul and Arsyad

Ushering was quite fun. You get to boss little kids around, and they have no choice but to follow your every instruction!! Woohoo!! But seriously, that was not the reason I chose ushering. Yvonne, Derek and Rashad were the ones who wanted it because they thought it was easy-peasy as they assume that it only requires us to stand in one spot and point people towards the direction of the auditorium (Kakaka they were wrong!!). Sheesh, lazy bunch of --
Oh erm, anyway, so during the MCS meeting, they were hastily raising their hands to volunteer for it and so I just follow suit.

What what what???? My friends were joining it, and it was either that or get stuck with some yucky boring job with people that I am not close to where awkward silence will be our companion for agonisingly long hours so I volunteered too. Omg talk about peer pressure here. Wakaka

Since the school that I was in charge of, St Mary, had only one performance which was the Dikir Barat, I scurried off to help Wendin, Syamil and Farah at the booth after leaving the school girls in the auditorium.

POPIAH AND NASI LEMAK FOR SALE!!!!

They left to sell the popiahs and nasi lemaks outside, leaving Jie, Jie, Wen Chiat, John and I to man (or wo-man) the booth. We tried our very best to sell off everything. Once again, I found myself shouting calling after people to come over to buy our yummy popiah and nasi lemak.
Sighzz, there goes my voice again!! Yes, it is still sexy and nasally, and though Yvonne and Jie Jie likes it (SADDIST!!!! Enjoying my pain and misery!! Boohoo), I miss my old voice!! Not being able to sing is like, TORTURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Ok, I digressed. At the end of the day, we managed to sell EVERYTHING OFF!!! All the nasi lemak and popiahs that Wendin, Syamil and Farah left for us was sold out!! Woohoo!!! Big accomplishment here for us juniors!! Oh yeah, we rock!!

Yeah see, this is what happens when you are nice to little kids that you are baby-sitting. They will buy popiahs from you and insist on you keeping the change!!
XD

cindy bday

*breathes out a huge sigh of relieve* Pheeewww!!!!

Finally!! After all that planning and scolding and cursing and broken promises and endless frustration (omg i'm just kidding cindy) much mature discussion, Cindy's surprise birthday finally fell into place and worked out OWH-SO-PUUUURRRRRRRRFECTLY!!!!

How It All Went Down...
Part One.
Nancy, who is Cindy's very bestest friend in the whole wide world, starts to give Cindy the cold shoulder a week before her birthday. Purpose of this is to make Cindy think that she has forgotten about her.

Part Two.
Nancy, Liu Ann and Jackeline come ALL THE WAY FROM KUCHING to KL and meet up with Suria on Friday. Location: SiSitel Cititel, Midvalley.

Part Three.
Sheila sms Cindy the day before her birthday, telling her that she is already in JB doing her practical, thereby being unable to celebrate her cousin's birthday. (a gazillion boohoos for Cindy)

Part Four.
I met Sheila at the Kelana Jaya station and we proceed to Midvalley to meet up with Nancy and the gang. When there, the cake was ordered and everything else was settled, sort of..

Part Five.
Jia Seng breaks Cindy's heart (unintentionally) by keeping her in the dark about all the messages and calls that he was receiving the entire day while on the way to Midvalley to meet me, Janet, Eric and Jiun Mean to celebrate her birthday.

Part Six.
I met up with Cindy and Jia Seng and hung out with her while they had lunch until I received an SMS from the hungry Suria and Nancy. So I inconspicuously excused myself and brought them for lunch, but I strictly restricted them from going to the foodcourt as Cindy was there. Hush hush. After lunch, we quickly came up with a plan as to how to surprise Cindy and at the same time, make her CRY CRY CRY.

Part Seven.
After informing Jia Seng about the devious plan, I called him up meet him at Jusco. That is when the evil plan started.

HOW IT HAPPENED

For those of you who can't play the video, this is what happened:
I walk up to Jia Seng and Cindy.
I talked and stalled, then I suddenly requested to see her ring (the couple ring that she shares one half with Nancy).
Jia Seng turns her around and closes her eyes.
Cindy starts to freak out a bit.
I quickly call Nancy to come over IMMEDIATELY.
Nancy tip-toes over to the temporarily blinded Cindy and takes the ring from me.
Janet, Suria and Liu Ann follows from behind.
She joins her ring together with her ring and slips it into Cindy's index finger.
I continue to talk to Cindy as though it was ME who was putting on her ring for her.
Cindy stated that she feels the ring to be slightly bigger and feels awkward about it being on index finger.
I told Jia Seng to release her.
Cindy sees Nancy and SURPRISE!!!!!!!!!!!!
She starts crying, we start REJOICING!!!!!!

Yay!! We made Cindy cry!!! We are a bunch of sadist!!! Muahahahaha and AHEMZZZ JIA SENG!!! I CAN ACT!! Who says I can't act le?? Haha

I'm sorry Cindy, but this is simply PRICELESS!!!

OMG I did felt really happy and touched that Cindy cried!! Mmmm warm feeling inside!! Hehe

So after that, we hung out, and shopped. After dinner we went back to the hotel room that Nancy and the gang were staying in to cut cake and open presents.

OMG you have NO idea how hard it was to find something to light up the candles. Eric and Jiun Mean had to walk all over Midvalley (i think) to find matches, but for some weird reason they came back empty handed. and so therefore conclusion is, midvalley sells everything except for matches and lighters. But they managed in the end, so the party was ON!!

After we each had a piece of cake, Jia Seng made us play this game where the loser has to eat another piece of cake. I shall not go into the tedious details as to how the game was played, but in conclusion, Nancy, Cindy and our dear gamemaster Jia Seng were the ultimate losers!!! Nyeh nyeh!! Wakakaka

Whats your number

That was basically it. Really fun and I am super glad that I was able to join them. Oops allow me to digress for a bit.
To Rashad and Derek, THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH for helping me in my Journey to the West Kelana Station. You guys are such gentlemen!!! Hehe I am eternally grateful guys!!

Ahemz
I am super glad that Nancy thought of this plan ever since the day Cindy left Kuching in May. It was really nice to get together with my Kuching buds, as it might be a LONG time before I ever get to hang with them again.

It was basically outburst of insanity!! For example, look at the crazy pictures that we took:

Net looked so gangster I couldn't resist!!!

Sheesh woman!!!

Look away...

Hotel showdown!!!

The entire time together, we were joking about Eddy Ng Liu Ann @ Ah Ng Ann Ann Engineer, Nancy's footwear, and SIMON!!!

Simon is the maid guy person thingy that cleaned their hotel room. He left them a note, and it was really cute, and hillarious!!

ROLF!!!

OMG that was fun. hehe
I love (in a platonic fashion) all my friends back in Kuching, and even though I have new and fun friends here in KDU, I am missing you all velly-belly much!!!

Me, Suria, Janet, Jackeline, Liu Ann, Nancy, Cindy and Jia Seng

Pizza Party!!

Just when I thought that I would not be eating all this fancy-pancy type of food all the time while I am here in College, boy how wrong was I!!!

Last night 20 of us (both Petronas and JPA kids) got together and ordered pizza!! Initial plan was to sit and feast by the poolside, but we could not find a suitable place to sit by the pool. So we all ate in the darkness as some bugger turned off the lights for whatever reason, i oso dunno at the little stony chess table thingy.

Lets see, 6 large pizzas and 4 bottles of Pepsi. Total price, RM135++

Not bad right??? Enough said, its picture time!!

Orange @ Jie Jie

Yummy yummy pizza

Arsyad, Wen Kiat and Zul @ Zoel

Derek, me, Jie Jie, Alep, Wen Kiet, Rashad, Nazirul and Zoel

Me and Alep

PS: Alep, that is NOT my usual pose!!!!
PPS: Derek, I am NOT going to organise the next one!!! You cant make me!! Nyeh nyeh..
PPPS: I lost my voice shouting at the very XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX rated boys yesterday... Poor me...

Wakaka I am having so much fun!! Lolz XD

Settling Down

Helloooooo guys!!

I have settled in the brand spanking new condo in Kelana Jaya. Sterling Condo was just opened TWO months ago, and although there are a few occupants in the ginormous and B-E-A-UUUUUtiful condo, touching ups are still under process. So yeah, even though it is new and pretty, it is still very dirty from all the dust and what nots.

I have made new friends, thank God they are the type of people that knows how to chillax, joke around and have fun.

New Buddies!! Me, Yvonne, Orange, Susan! All from Johor, except me of course...

Kautzar, my roomie
Anyhoo, did I mention that this condo is huge and beautiful?? Wakaka
This condo comes complete with a big ass swimming pool, two kids playground, aan indoor gym, outdoor gymSSS, a tennis court, a BBQ Pit

View of block A in Sterling Condo

Wanna play chess???

Waterfall!! Meet up place with the guys

Front view of swimming pool

Big ass swimming pool

No, this is NOT s swimming pool -_-"

Kids playground

Fenced up tennis court...

The only problem with this condo is *achmed voice* LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION.

NOOOOOOOOOO ALEP!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
Sterling Condo is NOT near the Putra LRT!!!!! Walking distance?!?!?!?! Yeah like, an entire day worth of walking!!!

And NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! Giant is NOT directly opposite Sterling!!!
It is a 30 minutes walk dude!! Across the highway somemore!! Fuhyoh, walk to Giant everyday? I am going to be like a super skinny cicak at the end of my two year course! But then again, it might not be a bad idea…… Kekeke

And so therefore conclusion is, don’t trust a satu daun who stays in kl but does not know is way around kelana jaya even though he uses google earth not everything is within my grasp as I originally thought it would be!

Seriously though, it is very hard to flag a cab in this area as it is still new and somewhat secluded as not many cars pass by this area. So what we do everyday is to wake up early in the morning and wait for the shuttle bus to take us to KDU at 7am. Then, after class, we have to wait for the bus at 5pm.

We can opt to take a cab to and fro, but the main problem is $$$$$$$

Sighummzzz, I just got my timetable and we started class on Tuesday right after orientation.
During the briefing, we were informed about the subjects that we are required to take and about the external exams and stuff.
For me, I will be doing:
MATHS
FURTHER MATHS
CHEMISTRY
PHYSICS
ENGLISH
Further maths is like, super hard!!

Bad angle of KDU, taken from Rashad's car
Owh kind people and lecturers at KDU, have mercy!!!!

When With The People of 5A 2007...

expect outburst of total insanity!!!

I am now in Starbucks at Maju Junction in KL. I had to run all over the freaking place just to look for WiFi connection as I am absolutely desperado to blog!!! Huhuhu

Before I left Kuching, the one and only place that I have ever reside in, I took a step back from all the packing and preparation to spend time with my pals. Huhu so little time, so much to do..

First off, I had a galpals’ night out with Eddie last Thursday. We watched Hancock, but as time was not on our side, we did not have time to eat Gu Bak Mee from across the street! Sobzz. Fret not!! We did not sit through Hancock with an empty stomach (well, at least I didn’t. Eddie?? Mmmmzz yummy mash potatoes hehe)

Anyways, we went to Bing to have satisfy my foodlust for what IMHO is the absolute best brownies in town, PERIOD!!

BROWNIES!!! *droolzzz*

Eddie and his Oreo Cheesecake

It was fun hanging out at Bing while he fixed my laptop. Sighzz, although we just met not long ago, I think we really bonded and I hope to be galpals fuhevah!!

Shoutout! Heyz Eddie, thanks for everything. I know sometimes I tend to be a bit *chokes* pushy and bitchy and uptight and annoying and have little CEOs and (helloooooooooooo you can stop me here anytime now!!!), ermz, in short, thanks for putting up with me and my zany self!! Hehe I enjoyed out time together and I am going to mish you loads!! Hugzzies.. Ken Leeeeeeee… Huhuhu

My last night in Kuching was spent with my school friends. Hmph they all laughed at me for wearing my old prefect necktie. Well, I figured that since it was my night out with my schoolmates, and it was my last chance to wear it ever again, so why not? Right? Hehe
Anyhoo, that night was MADNESS!! Let the photos below do the talking!!!!

Peace!! Kang Hong and I

We took sooo many other whacky photos, but I can't upload them all!! Sorry guys and don't feel offended if you don't see your pictures in this post!!! Huhu

Guess what movie I watched. Guess, guess!!

I watched Hancock. Again. *cue WTH* Oops, the cat is out of the bag now. lolz
Joshua was super sweet enough to pay for my ticket after I told him that I have watched the movie anyway. Since I know perfectly well that watching the same movie two nights/days in a row was not thrilling at all, I specifically instructed Joshua to sit next to me so that we can talk throughout the entire movie.

Joshua and I putting our feet up at the cinema

The movie was not as dreadful the second time round as Joshua was ranting on and on and on about his own opinions as to how the movie should be played out, about what funny lines and actions should be added in and stuff. Dumb boy was impatient throughout the whole movie and he begged me to spoil it for him. And so I did, for the fun of it! I hope I did not COMPLETELY ruin it for the people sitting behind us! LOLZ

Kai Fern, Nancy and Lanny. And gasp!!! whats kang hong doing at the back there???

We had dinner at Pizza Hut! The girls hoped into my car while the boys, WALKED!! Muahahaha

I KILL you, then I EAT you!!

And kudos to Liu Ann for pointing out that out of the fourteen starving young adults sitting together in a very crowded Pizza Hut, I was the only person using my hands to eat the grub while the others had extremely high table manners and were civil enough to use the forks and knives, slicing and cutting their dinners like some kinda high class western people used the freaking cutleries provided.

What you looking at Melanie?????

This is what we did in Pizza Hut; eat eat EAT!! talk thrash about the evilness present in our lives catch up with each other, tell stupid jokes about eggs, sodium chloride and balls *shudders*.
Of course, the day would not be complete without me throwing my head back in hysterically LOUD laughter that lasted for about 10 minutes till I turn red, stomach cramping and tears rolling down my face. LOLZ It was all Joshua’s fault! Who asked him to comment about the stupid pictures hanging on the wall (ok, the joke itself is not that funny, but the way he delivered it was hilarious!! Cool cool face huh Joshua!!)

We laughed of course, well actually, they were laughing at ME laughing at the joke. And then I laughed at KANG HONG laughing at ME laughing at the joke. Woohoo!!! Yes, this happens frequently in class.

Dexter ALMOST could not make it..
BUT HE DID!! Yahoo!!!
