On a different note, Pn Lim just swung by to return my matrix files that she borrowed as Ying Ying was accepted into matrix after appealing. Anyway, Pn Lim bought us some chocolates when she was in Labuan!!

Aliens in Indie

Cue music!! *trumpets blaring the Indiana Jones theme song*

First, the world was introduced to Raiders of the Lost Ark, 1981.
Then in 1984 came Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom.
Five years later, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade invaded theatres all around the world.
And now, in 2008, Harrison Ford does it again!! Whipping his way into your local cinemas, he brings forth his latest movie, the HIGHLY ANTICIPATED Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull!!!

Da-da-da!!!!! I bet alot of Indie fans from the 80's were on the edge of their seats, pacing around, waiting for the movie to come out. So was I!! But honestly the only reason I really really wanted to watch the movie was because Shea La'Beouf is in it!! I have absolutely ZERO attraction towards Harrison Ford, what so ever, ever since I watched him in Star Wars. Eeee I really cannot tahan him in that movie lar......

I was really hoping for the movie to be really good and interesting. But sad to say, I was rather disappointed. The movie did not make any sense to me at all!! Normally in this type of movie, you will be expecting some sort of spiritual being involved, but not this movie!! To cut the story short, Indie almost got himself killed looking for some sort of ancient Mayan site that is actually an alien ship thingy or whatever you want to call it. ALIENS??? That is so incredibly bizzare. I wish they came up with something else, anything but aliens. PUH-LEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSS

Anyhoo, casting wise, it was not bad at all. Sadly, Harrison's age was really showing in that movie, especially during a fight scene either that or he does not know how to act in a fight scene at all. You can't blame the fellow though, he IS, afterall, 65 years old this year.

Oh yeah, Eddie came over to my house yesterday to load some stuff into my computer, and I TOTALLY forgot to show him this picture.

Haha not bad oooii my dad!! Can pass off as a movie star!!

Cate Blanchett was good in the movie. She can really nail those accents!! She did a smashing British accent in Queen Elizabeth The Golden Age, and she rocked her Russian accent in this here movie. Shea La'Beouf, oh Shea, you can act in any movie and it will ROCK!! Shea really brought life to his character, but I preferred him in Transformers than in this movie.

Sheaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

As a conclusion, this movie was not as good as I expected *get strangled by Badaq*. Seriously, it would have been OOOOKKKK if it were not for the whole alien thing.

Ok, taking a breather from Indie here, so I sidetrack for a moment.
I went with Ivan, Eddie and Edwin to Star Cineplax yesterday. How we met up with each other was priceless!! So much so that I learnt that I am so incredibly loud till Ivan can hear my voice from one floor above!! OMG...
Had dinner at Life Cafe, where I had a slight *tiny weny bit* allergic reaction to the food I ate, curtesy of Eddie. After that we hit the Spring and Tabuan Jaya. Ermz, had a funny conversation with Edwin about pondans *lolz*, and from now on Ivan shall be known as Mr. Long Legs!! Muahaha

Yes yes I know, I have been spending a lot of time with this crowd lately. Haiz what to do, since my other friends are busy with Form 6 and their private colleges. But seriously, its good for me la. Make new friends, step outside of my comfort zone, try new things blah blah blah... Hermz I'm starting to get attached to this people *gasp* I enjoy it anyway. Haha, like what Eddie said, "we shall form the bestest clique in the whole wide world!!!"

SMS, Goodbyes and Idols...

OMG I promised myself that I would not blog about every single detail/thing that happens to me every now and then in this new blog, but I am just so incredibly bored right now. Argh... So to kill time, it is time for another round of randomness.

I received a text message today from a certain college (no matter how much I want to name the college, I shall not as I might be sued for defamation after this!! Lolz), informing me about some English Program that they will be conducting. It goes a lil' something like this:

My first reaction after reading this "brilliant" text was, WTH... I would not be condemning this text if it was not something to promote some sort of English course blah. The grammar mistakes are so obvious!! OMG Seriously if you want to promote your English course thingy, make sure you present it in proper English ok??? Who the french connection uk heck is going to take you seriously when you yourself are flawed in the language?? This is what bugs me about most Malaysian people. Why can't you SPIAK or use proper english when you are promoting something?? It is sooooo unprofessional, overrated and totally MEMPERSIASOIKAN!! Annoying much!!!
Lolz I guess the only reason I feel agitated about this is because all these stupoooooid colleges would not stop leaving me alone!! Every now and then I get a call (or more often from the SAME colleges again and again and again) from colleges like, Sunway, UCS, FTMS etc. trying to promote to me or persuade me to join their oh-so-amazing institute. One conversation I had over the phone with a lady last month went down like this:

Lady : Hello, I'm calling from ***********. Are you interested in blah blah blah blah??

Me : Err, actually I'm not interested in going to private college.

Lady : Oh, ok. Bye. *hang up*

Me : *^#*$%( stupid *#($ *%&#@^*

OMG.... Felt slighty victorious after that. Then a few weeks later, I had the same conversation with another lady from a different institute and I told her the same thing I said to lady number one. This time, this woman terror lar... She insisted that I came over to see them just to check things out. OMG... Lesson learnt. NEVER ever simply give out your handphone number during an EduFair.

LOLZ today Jia Seng left for KL. Went to the airport to see him off, although I will be joining him there in PJ in a months time! Wakaka... He just landed two hours ago, and already, I miss him!! That crazy nut is the only nut that can OPENLY make fun of me being fat and short non-stop and yet I laugh about it instead of sitting in a corner and sulk about it. Haha, good times, goooooood times...

PS: I am not marrying you, nor am I going to be a nun/sister!

I miss Cindy too. However I feel excited that I will be joining her in July!! I am counting the days till it comes!! And Suria, OMG my dear woman I miss you sooooooo. And of course everyone else who has gone off to pursue their educations.

On a different note, DAVID COOK WON!!! OMG Haha I was rather shocked actually. I thought Archuleta had a good chance to win. Oh well, I guess America has more guys than girls!! *wink wink* Lets see, Alot of people are happy about it, namely Eddie, Edwin, Joshua (nah see, all guys de!!). But of course some people are upset about it, namely Alif (cut off your toe!!! cut off your toe!!!) and Nadia. Actually I do not really care who wins. I LOVE them both!!! Cook is HAAAWWWTTT!! Archuleta is AMAZING!! How to choose like that?? Haha... But as I told Joshua, if American Idol is just about finding the "bestest" singer ever, then it should go to Archuleta. But if AI is about finding "bestest" performer with the "bestest" style and a whole lot of personality, then Cook deserves to take home the title. I DO however felt that Kristy, Jason and Amanda should not have been in the Top 12.

Oh ya, I also think that Danny Noriega should have been in the Top 12, due to that fact that he is very talented and can sing/perform better than most of the contestants there, despite being sassy and arrogant and erm, you know. Haiz that flambouyent Danny guy should just win the whole damn thing la!!! Wakakakakakaka

Catching Up

NEW BLOG!!! NEW BLOG!!! OMG it took me ALL day to fix this up!! With mucho mucho help from Badaq and Eddie!! Thanks guys!! *hugs*
OMG it has been about six months since I blogged!! Haha the reason I never bothered to write anything was because I had SPM exams to prepare and worry about (September-December), which led to me being lazy (January-May). Oh and I did not want to blog as I assumed that I will be going to Labuan Matriculation College (KML), in which internet privillages are either very restricted or totally nill.
I started a new blog as I feel that I have grown up, in a way. Since I am going to start college soon, this new phase of my life deserves a new blog instead of that childish blog that I used to have LOLZ. Anyway, to do everyone and myself justice, I will write random stuff that has happened to me randomly over the past few months.

DECEMBER 2007
-Finished my stupoid SPM examinations!! Total freedom for the next three to six months!!
-Pierced another hole in my right ear as a sign of my independence from school rules and responsibility as a prefect just for kicks
- Received gaji buta Worked with Mimi and Didi in their lab.
-Went to KL with Mimi and Fiq. Met up with Koko and Wee Leng. Went shopping *omg it turned me into a shopaholic now*. Was later joined by Badaq and Chris. I kena bully, as usual.

JANUARY 2008
-Happy New Year!!
-Started my driving lessons. Interesting fact: My instructor is my friend's ex-boyfriend's brother who also happens to be an ex-townian!! Lolz, its a small world!!

FEBRUARY 2008
-Happy CNY!! omg Shawn is so cute!! Note: Ajibu, Ajibah and Ajibi goes to school in Tabuan School at 5am til 2pm by bus everyday, even on CNY. Azrul killed Ajibu by sitting on him (????), but Ajibu was revived the next day. Azrai is freaked out about Ajibu's resurrection.
-Went to KK with Ah Maa. Kuku was busy with elections so did not have much to do. His apartment RAWKZ!! Like a bachelor pad and can see Mt. Kinabalu from there!! Meet cute lil' Hansboy who is half Singh half Chinese. Went to the zoo where we saw animals that eat rainbows and poop butterflies birds that can mimic every word we say. Hornbills are INCREDIBLE and extremely MAJESTIC!!!
-Koko came back with Wee Leng!!

MARCH 2008
-Permed my hair. Some of my friends could not recognise me after that. I never knew permed hair was so difficult to maintain man!!!
-Collected SPM result!! Incredibly happy to see friends again. OMG I got 9 A1s and 1 A2!!! Praise God!!

-Applied to University Malaya, Petronas Scholarship, MARA Scholarship, Khazanah Scholarship and Bank Negara Malaysia Scholarship.
-OMG I got my driving license already!! Had the practical test with Katherina and Esmund!! We all passed!!
-Watched 10,000BC with my buds. *omg sitting next to Joshua in a boring movie could be the best thing ever as he will be loudly narating the show and telling us his smart guess as to what will happen next, such as Doraemon popping out and pulling out a freakin boat from his belly*. After that we went for the Sarawak River Cruise, and then dinner at KFC. Suria could not join *sobs*

APRIL 2008
-Drove around in my mum's car, without my mum and dad sitting next to me, nagging me the entire trip ALONE. Occasionally gave my mum panic attacks by cornering too fast!! lolz.. OMG wasn't that fun Ma?? hahaha
-Turned down by Khazanah and Bank Negara scholarships. Not shortlisted for interviews at all.
-Got called for MARA Scholarship interview. Applied for dentistry. Most terrifying experience of my life!! Interviewers were both cut-throat and merciless ladies. Got help from Jacob about the interview the day before.
-Was shortlisted for Petronas Scholarship Interview. Went for two days Educamp Program at Rajah Court Hotel. Cindy, Yen Hua, Ning Jian and Nicole were there too. Nicole was my roomie. Met my cousin (Unc Lois' grandkid) Abang Nizam. Met new friends there; Andy, Edwin, Eddie, Norman, Ivan, Nazri, MT etc. *I know, all BOYS... tsk tsk tsk* Petronas interview was fun!! OMG thank God I got the sports question!! Used Zhia Hwa as a point in my presentation!! End of the day, I was called "Cindy's Friend" by Eddie, Edwin and Norman. -_-" Handsdown one of my top favourite experience ever!
-Was accepted to go to KML.
-Went to Sports Day as an ex-student of the school. Samuel's little brother ran the 100x4 relay race together with his three elder brothers. He was easily a crowd favourite! I think he is not more than 10 years old, could be younger.

MAY 2008

-Koko, Wee Leng and Badaq came back to Kuching before Koko flies off to work in Perth.
-Was accepted to go to University Malaya in KL for foundation (asasi sains hayat). Easy decision to ditch KML.
-Now everytime I eat or see Big Apple Donuts (BAD, omg I never noticed it!!), I will think of Kang Hong. Haha because I went out with them and I belanja them BAD. They enjoyed it!! After we got home, I received a text from Mr. Kho thanking me and saying that the donuts will remind him of me!! Haha good to know!!

-Much to my surprise, I landed the MARA scholarship too! But they will post me to Kolej Mara Seremban, and then INDIA omg...
-Secured Petronas scholarship!! Decided to reject UM and MARA after much thought and consideration.
-For the first time in my life, went to Garden Hill (pub-ish lounge), much thanks to Ning Jian and Andy. They tipu me into going there, I swear!! LOLZ...
-Went out with Cindy and the gang to spend time with her before she goes off to UTAR, PJ for foundation. Watched Speedracer (again, was sitting next to Joshua. Imagine his excitement when he found out that he was right about Rex/Hex undergoing plastic surgery). Jia Seng slept throughout the entire movie!! Went to Memories for dinner and then Triangle (PUB... WTH....) thank God I did not drink the stuff there!! Jia Seng said it was kinda strong.

-Sent Cindy to airport. OMG I miss her already!! Dashed off to Bing! with Ning Jian to meet Educamp pals. They went off to watch Narnia 2 while I went home.

-First time ever, went KARAOKE-ing with Eddie and Edwin *omg this crowd is bad influence on me!! lolz... jk jk we all very guai de* Was later joined by Andy. It was insane, but I had a blast. How can you not after singing from 2pm to 5.45pm?!? I so desperately want to embed the video of Edwin, Eddie and Andy screaming singing their butts off, but I might end up losing my head for that.

-PS, I never told my dad I went to pubs and went karaoke-ing. He does not have to know..... I did not drink anyway...
