This Is The Time...

Hey guys!

I have been here in KDU for almost three weeks now, and everything is still fine. A lot of people have been asking me random questions about my college and etc. randomly, and I find it rather vexing to have to repeat myself over and over and over and over and over and over again not to mention the fact that i wanna write super cool and amazing stuff about my life here to kek some people back home and elsewhere!!! omg i am so mean... muahahaha

And so therefore conclusion is, I have decided to post about my life here in KDU along with all sorts of randomness and nonsensical crap.

COLLEGE LIFE
Classes started the very next day we got to college, so unlike most of you, I did not have to endure a week long dreadful orientation, which is good. Kekeke
One class is about 50 minutes, and our timetable is basically confusing at first (it is so confusing, even one of our lecturer did not come to class as he misinterpreted the timetable), and quite pack for now. It will be even more jam packed come the next few months.

I am enjoying my classes and lecturer. Some of you might have heard "interesting" stories about my chemistry lecturer, and LOL he is starting to lighten up and is even joking around with us! what we learn in chemistry is that we must spray ridsect under our beds to get rid of the ghost hiding under there, and that the knowledge of chemistry can help us get loads of children in the future whether legally or illegally, it does not matter...

English class is my favourite. Our lecturer is young, which makes it easy for us to click with her. She lets us do fun stuff like write our own version of poems such as Malaysian Mentality and Sonnet 18. Btw, some of my friends have writen a really superb version of Sonnet 18, and I will post it up next time. She also went through a whole lot of trouble (and apparently had to fall on someone's feet for this) to get the department's permission to do a play. Two plays actually. This is no joke, we are doing it on a BIG scale!! I am not sure who is coming to watch us make asses out of ourselves on stage, but I know for sure that if we do not do well, that is the very end of us! *gulpzzz*

Owh, and I bet you are wondering how big my classroom is. Well, the classrooms that we are using is definitely NOT this.

taken during the MCS thingy that we had the other day

That is a lecture hall. We are using regular classrooms, some slighty bigger and slightly smaller compared to our classrooms back in secondary school. Though it is small, it is very cosy. For certain classes, there are 20+ students. But for most of my classes, I only have 8-13 classmates.

KDU mix us Petronas and JPA scholars together (13 students each), but we are seperated from private students as they enrolled much earlier than we are. After combining those two groups up, we are then divided into two groups, namely the Arts group and Science group. Since there are no science students on JPA's side, it is just the six of us, together with some students under KDU scholarship.

FOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOD
OMG it has been three weeks since I have eaten all the loca Kuching food. Kampua mee, gu bak mee, TA WAN KUNG MEE SUP KIAW!!!!, char sio perng etc. owh how I miss you...

Ok, I have to admit, I do not really miss them that much.

Ok, ok, I do not miss them at all...

But the one thing that I have a sudden craving for is...

the best tomato kueh tiaw in kuching PERIOD!!!

SARAWAK CLUB'S TOMATO KUEH TIAW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haha. But seriously though, the food that they serve in college is nice. It is quite expensive, but at least it is super yummy and nice.

Let see, in KDU Square (the main cafeteria), we have the fast food section (they even serve mutton there!! woohoo), the pastry section, the western food section (it is nice and cheaper compared to the prices outside), and the goreng section, where they fry food for you on the spot.
Phew talk about a hefty lunch!!

and when i told joshua about the food served, he told me that i am going to be fat by the time that i come back to kuching and that i am going to weigh over 100 kg!! stupid stupid panda, darn you

For dinner, my unitmates cook. They love to cook, and they eat a lot. Well, by my standards, it is alot. Everyone back home knows I eat very little, so I am not trying to imply that they are greedy and have never ending foodlust. So my ever nagging family, you do not have to worry as I am covered for dinner. Sheesh...

My unitmates who love to cook. Haliq and Zul

FRIENDS
My friends here are,

INSANE!!!

Geez man, you'd think that scholars are super nerdy and studious and upright and polite and quiet and shy and yek yek yek. But most of us are exact opposite.

We are kewl especially alep and slightly lazy and naughty and playful and very very very noisy and we are most definitely NOT shy.

Before I came here, I was so pure and innocent. But over here, I am no longer the former nor the latter as I am suffering from over exposure to colourful languages and XXXXX ratedness. This is mainly the boy's fault. Let me show you the culprits:

Zul, Rashad, Derek and Arsyad

And it would be sooooooooooooo wrong to leave this guy out of the to-blame list..

Alep BING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! why don you hit him?!?!?! ulu ulu ulu

*credits to Yvonne for this picture. I took it from your blog hehe*

They are very fond of the number 69 and whatever that is XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX-rated, and some of them have very colourful languages as well.
"Sherene!! Cover your ears!! You don't want to hear what we are going to say!!"

That is what Alep, Derek and Rashad would tell me when they are about to say or discuss about something that is super dirrty and XXXX-rated.

"No, no, we have to let you know and understand what all this is so that you would not feel curious and search it up the internet," says the ever so considerate Derek regarding Karma Sutera, *shouts and runs away screaming* "so see, we are looking out for you here."

Gee, thanks guys. I feel so "secured" now... PLUS they like to scandalise us girls with the seniors by creating rumours and gossips and teasing us and stuff... Evils...

Apart from their craze about X-rated stuff, they are really nice and sweet. But most of all, they are full of gilaness!! Haha

And for the girls, they are not spared from all the insanity as well. They are full of life and and crazy, slightly X-rated (but not as much as the boys), and most of all, super fun to be with!!

Zan, Susan, Yvonne and Jie Jie.

The girls are super to joke around with and they are not ashamed of talking about underwear colour and even told us that we should get zebra striped undies.. oooo sexy sexy
OMG see, see.. I am corrupted already...

Sighummzzz I have alot more that I wanna say about my friends, but I have class in 15 minutes, and so I am off!!
Ciao people...
