Waiting For The Moment

Who said chivalry is dead?

And that all guys are insensitive and selfish?

That is why I just love to talk to Mr Sweeney Todd online. He is just about the sweetest guy ever. He is so sweet, you are practically exposed to the risk of getting diabetis online just by talking to him.

Anyone that knows him will definitely agree with me :)

Anyway, I was talking to him yesterday about opportunities and waiting for the right moment.

Lets say you really want something so badly.

Or if there is something on your mind and heart that you really want to let out and tell the whole world.

What do you do?

There are two very different things you can do.

You take matters into your own hands. You go out looking for that opportunity to do what it is that you want to. Or you go ahead and create an opportunity for that moment to arise. In other words, you get proactive.

Either that, or you can just sit around passively and just wait for the moment to come.

Sure patience is a virtue. But we all know that we never really miss the water until its gone. Right? And by doing the first, it just shows how much you really want something.

Lets say you really want a bar of chocolate. You crave and yearn for it. It is the only thing on your mind.

There are two things that you can do about it.

1. Get off your lazy ass and run down to the store to buy that bar of chocolate and satisfy your craving.

2. Just sit around and wait for the magical moment for someone to come out of nowhere and hand you a bar of chocolate.

To the latter, he calls them "fool".

If you do not do anything about it, then that one thing will just pass you by and then you realise that its too late. And then regret comes into place.

We have all experienced situations in which we are forced to decide between the two.

And in regard to whatever it is we decide to do, sometimes it works, other time it backlashes into your faces. And the cruel sting of failure daunts us.

But as to which decision is right or wrong. It is subjective. Afterall, we were all taught that sometimes we need to wait patiently until the right moment comes.

I think it is safe to say that Mr Amiyer is one who takes action. Especially when it comes to matters of the heart.

But please do remember Amier, there are times when we just need to wait for the right and perfect moment to come :)
