Explaination For My Sotness

Yes I said sotness, not shortness.

On the first day of Chinese New Year, we did the exact same thing we did every single year. Collecting ang pau from my dad, going over to my grandma's house to eat mee sua, getting more ang pau from my relatives, and of course, the family photo.

One of the many reasons why some of you would find me a little bit quirky, or completely insane lies in my genes. My DNA. From generation to generation, I come from a long line of sotness which seems to detoriate with every new generation. Of course, mine being the worst so far.

Zaniness is not the only thing that I inherited from my mother's side (yeah very clever. blame the mother). Loud boiterous laughter and fatness (I call it the Wong family fat gene) also comes from that side of the family.

My family is so interesting, no? Hehe love them all la, all their flaws and sotness and what not. All that does not just happen during CNY. Oh no. It happens all year round, whether we are together or not.
